Description: The drill involves having the defensive backs form one line about 20 yards from the coach, facing him. When the coach raises the football showing pass, the first player starts to sprint directly toward the coach. When the player gets within 10 yards of the coach, the coach pumps his arm like faking a pass toward the side he wants the player to break. The player should then break at a 90-degree angle to that side. Once the player makes his break, the coach should throw the football at the player to make him react quickly to catch the ball.
